Thyme is a popular fragrant woody herb that is found in many blends like za'atar, herbes de Provence, and jerk seasoning. When using dried thyme, try to rehydrate it by either soaking before use or adding it to moist dishes, for instance: soups, stews, braises, and marinades. It goes great with red meat, poultry, root vegetables, eggs, and beans and legumes.
