Makrut lime leaves are an essential ingredient in Thai cuisine, flavoring soups, curries, and stir fries. To use dried makrut lime leaves, simply drop a couple into your soup or curry as it simmers to infuse the liquid with the fresh citrus aroma, or if you're making a stir fry, you can crumble the leaves directly into the pan—just be sure to leave out the tough stem. Another option is to rehydrate the leaves in warm water for a few minutes, then very thinly slice them for a garnish.
