Granulated garlic is great for marinades, rubs, sauces, and spice blends. It almost disappears when hydrated, imparting that all-familiar garlic flavor without having to cook out the sharpness of a fresh clove. For good garlic bread, mix granulated garlic with melted butter to get that deep garlic flavor. You can use it as-is in soups and stews, or you can rehydrate it in a bit of water before using it in sauces and salad dressings.
