Known as the champagne of tea, darjeeling is lighter and more floral than other black teas. While most people drink darjeeling without milk, sugar, or lemon, its flavors do lend itself well to being the base of a hot toddy or tea flavored simple syrup. To brew a perfect cup, use water that is 195-205°F water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
